The Thief in Your Mind
The
thief on the street or lurking in the alley doesn’t do nearly as much damage as
the thief in your mind. He’s the thief
that constantly chatters, makes snide remarks and tells you all the things you
can’t do.
This
thief of the mind is your greatest enemy.
He keeps you from trying, or believing, or thinking straight, or
accepting reality. This thief is the
worst of thieves. He is a liar and a
cheat.
So,
what do we do?
We
arrest this thieve of thieves. We
actually embrace a few concepts that others have talked about for years … stuff
like
Mental
attitude
Positive
thoughts
Can-do
thoughts
Approve
of yourself
Like
yourself
Believe
in yourself
Judge
self by your own standard of measure, not what others say is the standard.
And
when you are successful in this pursuit, well, the world will notice the
change.
You
will then be in full possession of your own mind and your own destiny.
This
stuff works.
